Samsung Now Supports the AVP Codec in 8K
Regular readers may remember that in 2023, we reported on a new pro-quality codec that Samsung had developed with a view to use in a future phone. Now, with the announcement of the S26 Ultra, it has a smartphone that can support that codec in 8K/30 resolution.
