Research: Nearly 1bn UHD TVs shipped
Market researcher Omdia reported that nearly 1 billion UHD TVs have now been shipped globally. This is despite the lack of 4K broadcast channels and highlights that ‘native content’ is less of a requirement these days because of sophisticated and increasingly AI-enabled up-scaling.
