Nvidia Includes DP 2.1b on RTX 5090

VESA announced the 2.1b version of DisplayPort (DP) in January 2024 and now Nvidia has showcased the GeForce RTX 5090 Add-in board (AIB) which will have three DP 2.1b ports as well as an HDMI 2.1b output. Nvidia has lagged behind in DP support compared to AMD over the last year or so. The board can support up to two 8K 120Hz displays (with DSC). In single screen configurations it can support up to 8K 12-bit HDR at 165Hz with DP 2.1b + DSC or HDMI 2.1a + DSC.
