New M4-based Apple iPads Support 8K Video
As part of its announcement of new OLED and M4 processor-based iPads, Apple said that the new video processors in the M4 chip can support 8K video processing with hardware-accelerated 8K H.264, HEVC, ProRes, and ProRes RAW support. This brings the iPads into line with the Mac line.
