Mediakind to Acquire Harmonic

Big news in the world of professional broadcast infrastructure was the news that Mediakind (the company that was once Ericsson Television) is acquiring Harmonic Inc, a developer of video routing, server, and storage products including compression systems. Separately, Decode TV published a Q&A with Harmonic about its compression technology and especially about how it exploits AI.
