MainConcept Releases Real Time Encoding of 8K VVC/LCEVC

8K Association, MainConcept GmbH, has released the latest version (3.4) of its Live Encoder software, which includes support for the live encoding of LCEVC and VVC/H.266. Encoding is supported for resolutions up to 8K.

8K Association Comment
This development is a significant step towards wider distribution of 8K content. 8K live encoding with VVC has been demonstrated before, but now it is available in released software.
