TCL/CSOT Demonstrates 8K Foldable OLED TV
A video appeared on the App formerly known as Twitter from China that showed a demonstration of a TCL CSOT foldable 8K OLED TV panel produced using inkjet printing. The TV is very much a prototype. TCL CSOT’s CEO told us at Display Week in May that early production of inkjet OLEDs would focus just on mid-range monitor sized panels. To be competitive in making TV panels it needs a new fab that is some years away.
