Spin Digital Upgrades its VVC Encoder
8K Association member, Spin Digital, released news that it has new versions of its HEVC and VVC codecs and now the VVC/H.266 encoder has been optimized to enable 8Kp60 10-bit HDR compression in real-time. It also has reduced the bitrate needed for 8K video in VVC by 12% from its previous version.
