Oppenheimer Scanned in 8K

The latest “Oppenheimer” movie was shot mainly on IMAX and Panavision 65mm cameras according to an article in IndieWire. The film versions were printed onto 70mm film for display, but in digital theaters, the film was scanned at 8K and then downscaled for display to match the 4K digital projectors that are currently installed.
