Omdia: Buyers shift to larger screens
Advanced Television published an article quoting David Hsieh, a noted display industry analyst with Omdia, who highlighted that consumers are continuing to buy bigger and bigger TV displays. Consumers like these displays which are being made more and more economically in China by major LCD makers such as BOE, TCL/CSOT and CHOT as well as by LG Display and Sharp.
Of course, the bigger the display, the more the higher pixel count of 8K makes a difference.
