Multiple 8K Nominations in DEG Entech 3rd Annual Awards
DEG Entech announced its nominations for its 3rd Annual Technology awards and highlighted two groups working in 8K.
In the Technology Leadership Award category, it identified Intel, NBCU and COSM based on work creating “The World’s first Immersive 8K VR Livestream for XXIV Olympic Winter Games Team”
In the Emerging Technology Award, it highlighted the work by Ravindra Velhal (Intel), Mauricio Mesa (Spin Digital) and team in “Pioneering 8K/60FPS/HDR VVC (Versatile Video Codec/H.266) Live Streaming”
