Comment – New HDMI Version Fixes TV Cable’s Biggest Problem
| HDMI 2.1a Amendment 1 is a new HDMI Version which has been announced with a feature to allow more power than the standard HDMI interface to support the development of active cables. As resolutions and frame rates go up, the length of passive cables is more restricted. The new Cable Power feature goes beyond the current level.
