Comment – Experimental Film on Ice Crystallization
Blanchard captures in 8K but uses a crop to create motion within the frame, outputting the result in 4K. This process is one way that many filmmakers use 8K capture today. The 8K version is created by scaling the 4K master to 8K. Watch the video and experience the result here.
