BOE 3D Display Uses 16K Panel
At CES, the world’s largest display panel maker, BOE of China, announced a 32″ ‘Light Field’ (or autosteroscopic 3D for use without glasses) display that us built on a ’16K’ LCD panel. (This kind of display uses tiny lenses to send different pixels to the two eyes for one or more 3D views – editor)
It also announced a curved 45″ ‘9K’ Oxide LCD with miniLED backlight for automotive applications. At the show was also a Geely Galaxy E8 which has a 45″ 8K LCD one piece display.
