8K Shows Reality via Electronic Windows
At the 8K Association we often reference the work that was done to show that 8K is needed to get close to the look of reality. Now a firm, LiquidView, in San Francisco is creating 24/7 image reels displayed as artificial ‘windows’ for residents that have unsightly views outside their real windows. The technology uses dedicated media servers and special content mirroring the changing light and weather over the day.
