Hive to Show 8K 60P Genlocked Media Engine at ISE 2025
AV Interactive reported that Hive, an A/V specialist supplier based in the UK, will show a new Beehive media server at ISE 2025. The server includes a new Beeblade computing module that can support 8K 60P output with HDMI genlock with a claim of being ‘at a fraction of the cost of traditional media servers’. The HDMI output synchronises across multiple Nexus devices with +/-5-microsecond accuracy using Hive’s Beesync technology. The firm said that a fully loaded Beehive with 16 synchronised Nexus boards supporting 16 8K60 outputs delivers the highest-density media playout device on the market.
