HDR10+ Upgrades and Adds ‘ADVANCED’ Level

HDR10+ Technologies LLC released the latest version of its HDR10+ specification, HDR10+ ADVANCED, with a good number of new features. The details are here, but briefly, they are

Enhanced Overall Brightness
Intelligent Motion Smoothing (which could be especially useful for 8K)
Local Tone Mapping
Genre-based Optimization
Advanced Color Control
Adaptive Cloud Gaming

While most of these features are not specific to 8K, we thought that those interested in 8K would also be interested in HDR!
