Fans Watch El Clásico on Headsets

In a project promoted by the Spanish La Liga soccer organisation, more than 1,000 fans watched ‘El Clásico’ (between Real Madrid & Barcelona) using VVR headsets. The project used Blackmagic Design cameras and AV Magazine reported that Apple had installed ‘more than 100 cameras’ in the Real Madrid stadium. The intent of both projects is to develop immersive experiences for those that cannot attend a live match.
