A New Paper on 8K Viewing to be Presented at Display Week 2025
An interesting thread published on LinkedIn explained that new work done to understand the visible difference of 8K to lower resolutions will be published and presented at Display Week in San Jose in May. A critical part of the study was to ensure that the content judged was actually captured in 8K rather than merely being stored in an 8K file format. The high resolution camera from Pawel Achtel was used in the project. The 8K Association will be at Display Week and plans to follow up once the paper is presented.
